Faculty members planning to apply for National Science Foundation (NSF) and other grants are invited to participate in a new grant-writing program, meeting biweekly August through October for November grant deadlines. The writing group, a program of the Office of Faculty Development, provides support, accountability and feedback, as well as resources such as visits from campus experts on assessment and other components of grant proposals.
In January 2016, the grant-writing group will re-form to support the writing of NSF CAREER proposals with July deadlines. The CAREER proposal program will also include a mock panel.
The first meeting of the Grant Writing Program will be Tuesday, Aug. 11, from 2 to 5 p.m. in Thwing Center’s Cleveland Room.
Those who plan to attend should bring information regarding the guidelines and deadlines of the grant they will be writing. Additional meeting dates will be posted on the Office of Faculty Development website.
RSVP by Aug. 6 to FacDevRSVP@case.edu or call 216.368-2464.
