Shellac manicures could be causing cancer
WBNS-10TV: Elma Baron, professor of dermatology at the School of Medicine, discussed the potential dangers of a shellac manicure that used ultra violet light.
“There’s already one report where they found some skin cancer on the fingers of women who have done this for multiple years,” Baron said. “They’re suspecting that one of the contributing factors could be the light from the manicure.”
