Mother Jones: After a mentally ill woman died suddenly after being physically restrained by Cleveland police in November, the public is still waiting for answers, much like in the Tamir Rice case. “It is extremely disconcerting that the families and the public are required to wait so long to find out if the officers will stand trial for the killings,” Ayesha Bell Hardaway, visiting assistant professor of law, said of the investigations.
