The Case Western Reserve chapter of Alpha Phi Omega, a national co-ed community service fraternity, will host the 10th annual March for Marfan 5k race and 3k walk tomorrow (Saturday, March 21) to raise money for the Marfan Foundation.
Check-in is at 9 a.m. at Wade Commons, with the race beginning at 10 a.m. and the walk at 10:15 a.m. The event will last until approximately 12:30 p.m. A light breakfast and lunch will be provided.
The Marfan Foundation “is dedicated to saving lives, and improving the quality of life for individuals and families affected by the Marfan syndrome and related disorders.” The organization raises money for research and spreads awareness about the hereditary disorder, which affects connective tissue.
