The University Compliance Office will continue its monthly “Speaking of Privacy” information sessions for Case Western Reserve University employees on Thursday, Feb. 19.
Focusing on the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), the session will teach attendees about students’ rights to access their education records and when and how staff may disclose those records to third party requesters.
This session will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. in Crawford, room 720. Seating is limited, so the event will be first come, first seated. Another session on the same topic will be held May 21 in the Toepfer Room of Adelbert Hall.
