The Center for International Affairs invites the campus community to review and discuss the current draft of Phase II of the plan for internationalization. There will be two open forums where recommendations for Phase II will be presented and input will be discussed.
The first forum will take place Thursday, Feb. 5, from noon to 1:30 p.m. in Adelbert Hall’s Toepfer Room. Those who cannot attend this forum are invited to attend the second session on Monday, March 2, from 3:30 to 5 p.m. in Tinkham Veale University Center’s Senior Classroom, room 134.
Phase II of the plan for internationalization, which can be read in full on the center’s website, has been developed incorporating and building upon the existing guiding principles of Phase I, the achievements of the past four years, and the changing needs of the university and its constituents.
Phase II of the Plan for Internationalization concentrates more on graduate and professional students, research, and alumni. In addition, Phase II contains several specific recommendations—such as the recommendation regarding communication—that will provide the infrastructure and support to move the university toward its objective of fully realizing its international potential.
The forums are open to all faculty and staff, who can RSVP to internationalevents@case.edu. Lunch will be provided.
