The Baker-Nord Center for the Humanities and UCITE will host a faculty session on “Technology in the Classroom.” The panel discussion will be held Nov. 3 from noon to 1 p.m. in the Baker-Nord Center, Room 206 of Clark Hall.
During the panel, speakers from widely divergent fields of study will talk about the usefulness of current and developing digital technologies in the classroom.
Panelists will be Christine Hudak, director, MSN in Nursing Informatics Program at the Frances Payne Bolton School of Nursing; Bernard Jim, SAGES Fellow in the Department of History; and Michael Kenney, Teagel Professorial Fellow in the Department of Chemistry. William Deal, Severance Professor of the History of Religion in the Department of Religious Studies and digital humanities faculty liaison in Baker-Nord Center for the Humanities, and Lee Zickel, digital humanities manager at Baker-Nord Center for the Humanities, will moderate the panel.
