The Martin Luther King Jr. essay contest deadline has been extended to Friday, Jan. 30, at 5 p.m.
The contest provides an opportunity for all Case Western Reserve University students, faculty and staff to write and submit original essays in the style of newspaper opinion pieces between three and seven pages, double-spaced, that reflect on the application of King’s values and vision to contemporary social, political and economic issues.
The prizes for this year are four $500 prizes for each category: faculty member, staff member, graduate/professional student and undergraduate student.
