As part of the Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration Week, the Center for Civic Engagement & Learning and the Career Center will host a Community Service & Internship Fair on Friday, Jan. 16, from 12:30 to 2 p.m. in the Tinkham Veale University Center ballroom.
The fair is an opportunity to honor King’s commitment to service. Learn about local volunteer opportunities and public service internships by talking with representatives from more than 50 nonprofits, government agencies, post-graduate service organizations and student service groups. Organizations represented work on a variety of issues including health, youth development, homelessness, refugee services, the environment and more.
Students can stop by as their schedules allow. Free pizza will be provided.
