Thwing Study Over is one of the biggest events of the semester in which students can take a break from studying for finals and relax with fun activities and food. All student groups and organizations are encouraged to sign up to be a part of this CWRU tradition. This year, Thwing Study Over will be held Sunday, Dec. 7, from 7 to 11 p.m.
Because event organizers want as many students and organizations involved and interested in the event, there will be an adjusted booth policy this year: Those organizations planning to do giveaways should spread the giveaways out throughout the evening or plan additional activities in order to maintain interest in the group’s booth.
To sign up a group for Thwing Study Over, fill out the OrgSync form by 11:59 p.m. tonight (Wednesday, Nov. 19).
Event organizers also are planning a lip dub video of Owl City and Carly Rae Jepson’s “Good Time” to help promote Thwing Study Over. They will film the video tonight from 6 to 7 p.m. in Thwing Center. To participate, sign up online, and wear something CWRU or Thwing Study Over-themed. Individuals also are asked to bring props for use in the video.
