The Writing Resource Center’s general campus workshop series continues with a session on selecting appropriate sources for research essays. The workshop, titled “Considering the Source: How to Select and Use Evidence,” will be held Friday, Oct. 31, from 12:35 to 1:35 p.m. in Bellflower Hall, first floor. The instructors for the workshop are Megan Swihart Jewell and Matthew Feinberg.
The workshop will primarily focus on helping students learn about the research process and to choose sources that meaningfully contribute to their arguments. Workshop leaders also will address quotation and paraphrasing techniques.
