Disease? Germs? Amputation? What dreadful things might be stewing in the history of medicine before anesthesia and antiseptic?
Cleveland Bazaar, a handmade market that regularly hosts events throughout Cleveland, is teaming up with the Dittrick Museum of Medical History for a one-of-a-kind Halloween shopping and scavenger hunt-style event.
The Bazaar, featuring more than 40 vendors, will be held at Adelbert Gymnasium, while the scavenger hunt portion will be held at the Dittrick Museum on the third floor of Allen Memorial Medical Library.
The scavenger hunt will take place on Friday, Oct. 24, from noon to 5 p.m., while the bazaar is open from noon to 8 p.m.
