As deadlines approach for college admission applications, Case Western Reserve University faculty and staff are reminded of the university’s partnership with the Tuition Exchange, which provides financial assistance for qualified dependents to study at more than 600 colleges and universities across the country. See the full list of member schools on The Tuition Exchange website.
Students seeking to enroll in a member college or university in fall 2015 as first-time, first-year students must return a completed Eligibility Certification Form, Tuition Exchange application and any other required documents to the Office of University Financial Aid (Yost 435) by April 1, 2015, to be considered for the scholarships. Review application procedures, and download the necessary forms.
Families are reminded to pay special attention to deadlines for admission applications to partner universities, as they may differ for students eligible for Tuition Exchange scholarships. Refer to the host school’s website for admission details.
Tuition Exchange Scholarships cover full tuition, one-half tuition for a non-resident at a public institution, or a rate set by The Tuition Exchange. For 2015–16, private institutions that charge more than $33,000 for tuition are permitted to award less than their full tuition, but not less than the set rate of $33,000.
Tuition Exchange scholarships are not guaranteed, nor is admission guaranteed at member institutions. Dependent students of CWRU faculty and staff will be evaluated for admission and awarded Tuition Exchange scholarships based on the criteria of the university to which they are applying.
Eligible students must meet the dependent child criteria defined in the faculty and staff Tuition Benefit requirements.
Tuition Exchange scholarships typically cover four years or eight semesters of study. Annual recertification for students studying under Tuition Exchange scholarships is completed each summer.
