What does inequality look like in the 21st century? The Fall 2014 Salon Series will explore this question in relation to the present state of gender equality in the United States.
To kick off this discussion, the series will begin with a panel session on Tuesday, Sept. 23, from 11:30 to 1:30 p.m. in the Flora Stone Mather Center for Women, located in the Tinkham Veale University Center, Suite 248.
The panel, moderated by Shannon B. Lundeen, director of the Flora Stone Mather Center for Women, will feature women leaders from higher education, the corporate world and the community:
- Lynn T. Singer, deputy provost and vice president for academic affairs at Case Western Reserve,
- Charna E. Sherman, attorney at law and founder of Charna E. Sherman Law Offices Co., LPA, and
- Barbara Danforth, senior vice president of Ratliff and Taylor.
