Last weekend’s Blackstone Launchpad Startup Weekend saw several student teams compete. The top three student teams were:
- First Place: Moda Trendenza – A fashion shopping, wardrobe coordination service. The team members were Global MBA student Aditi Murarka, senior mathematics and economics major Hayley Teng, senior finance and economics major Michael Martinez, and sophomore mathematics and economics Marcus Gutierrez.
- Second Place: Noteworthy – A mobile/web application that allows students to share their school notes with their fellow classmates and view others notes. The team members were Global MBA student Mehrnoosh Reshadi, sophomore computer science major Israel Hill and sophomore computer science major Michael Rosenfield.
- Third Place: 10:04 ink – A web comic portal and hosting site. The team members were sophomore marketing major Taylor Moran, senior industrial design major at the Cleveland Institute of Art Rob Kinsey, master’s of computer science student Will Strachan and Cleveland Institute of art alumnus Michael Camper.
Blackstone LaunchPad StartUp Weekend 2014 more than doubled participation and tripled registrations compared to last year’s event.
