Case Western Reserve University and Cleveland provide a rich environment for watching and discussing films.
As students begin to consider their fall semester course load, first-year students are encouraged to remember they can take film courses on a wide range of topics.
The flexible, 15-credit-hour film minor is designed to accommodate busy student schedules and wide ranges of cinema interests. Students can get started by registering for ENGL 367: Intro to Film.
Cleveland is a hub of activity for film these days. Recently, John Travolta has been spotted around town, filming his latest, Criminal Activities. Films recently shot in Cleveland include Captain America: The Winter Solider, The Avengers and Draft Day, a fictional story about the NFL draft that features the Cleveland Browns, parts of which were filmed on our own campus. See what some of the actors had to say about Cleveland’s role in the film.
