The Association for Continuing Education (ACE) will hold the 68th annual Case Western Reserve University Book Sale Saturday, May 31, through Tuesday, June 3.
The 2014 book sale returns to the Adelbert Gymnasium with 70,000 books in easy-to-find categories.
ACE has a 67-year tradition of offering one of the biggest book sales in Ohio. This four-day event features titles from the worlds of popular fiction, politics, history, science and sports, and often contains autographed first editions. Vinyl records, art books and more than 20,000 used paperbacks are also for sale.
All items are donated from estate sales, private collections, professional libraries and generous alumni, and are sorted and appraised by a bevy of ACE volunteers. The profits support Case Western Reserve University and Lifelong Learning programs on and off campus.
The book sale will run:
- Saturday, May 31: 10 a.m.-noon (preview, $20 fee); noon-5 p.m. (free admission)
- Sunday, June 1: noon-5 p.m. (coupon day; $5 off purchase of $15 or more)
- Monday, June 2: noon–5 p.m. (reduced prices)
- Tuesday, June 3: 10 a.m.–1 p.m. (box day; $5/box)
Cash, checks, and credit cards accepted ($5 minimum charge).
