The Lubrizol Foundation and the Flora Stone Mather Center for Women will present the Women in Science and Engineering Roundtable (WISER) Awards Banquet Dinner Thursday, April 17, from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the Hovorka Atrium.
The event is designed to acknowledge and celebrate WISER students and collaborators who have provided outstanding service in peer mentorship, professional mentorship and outreach activities.
At the dinner, the WISER “superstar” and “faculty advisor superstar” for the 2013-2014 school year will be announced. Additionally, students will receive SOURCE (Support of Undergraduate Research and Creative Endeavors) scholarships and other honors for the year.
Ka-Pi Hoh, head of Research, Development and Testing for LZA China at the Lubrizol Corporation, will give the keynote address titled, “Aim High, Cast Wide.”
