Information Technology Services will conduct scheduled maintenance on several campus database servers on Saturday, Oct. 5, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. During this time, the following services will experience two brief outages while this scheduled maintenance is performed. Affected resources include:
- Software Center
- Website Administrator’s Toolkit
- ITS Services listed on help.case.edu and case.edu/its/ourservices/
- Encyclopedia of Cleveland History
- Self-service email and password tools
- Mailing lists and administrative aliases (Any email sent to a mailing list or administrative alias during the outage periods will be queued and delivered after the outage has ended.)
- Registered system self-help resources
- Red Hat Network Satellite server
- EMC Data Protection Advisor
The planned maintenance will provide disaster recovery and business continuity, which will result in improved availability of applications that reside on the servers.
