Information Technology Services now offers Symantec Endpoint Protection version 12.1.3 is available as a free download on the Software Center for Case Western Reserve University students, faculty and staff using Windows.
This update addresses previous installation issues with Windows 8. If Symantec Endpoint Protection is currently working on your Windows computer, you do not need to install this update. Version 12.1.2 is still available for Macintosh and Linux operating systems.
Per the university Acceptable Use Policy, faculty and staff are required to install and run this software on their computers. Students are strongly encouraged to use it.
