Eldred Theater will open the fall semester with several performances of Betty the Yeti.
The play features a long-standing battle between consumers and defenders in an old-growth Oregon forest. Add meddling by the U.S. Forest Service and the presence of a long-forgotten native denizen, and the result is the comic mix of this “eco-fable” by Jon Klein.
The play—directed by Jerrold Scott, professor of theater—will have multiple performances will Oct. 4, 5, 11 and 12, at 8.pm., and Oct. 6 and 13, at 2:30 p.m., at the Eldred Theater.
