Members of the Case Western Reserve University community are invited to demonstrate their support for scientists and families by taking part in the Cleveland’s Walk Now for Autism Speaks event, this Sunday, Sept 22, at 8 a.m. at Voinovich Park.
Participants will walk two miles to raise funds to increase awareness about the growing prevalence of autism and for autism research.
The walk is one of dozens that take place around the country each year as the signature fundraising event of Autism Speaks, a national autism science and advocacy organization.
Case Western Reserve’s participation is being organized through the International Center for Autism Research and Education and the campus chapter of Autism Speaks–U. Those who want to participate are encouraged to join the Autism Speaks–U team.
Those who cannot take part but would like to make a donation can also do so online.
