Associate professors of nursing Mary Quinn Griffin and Marilyn “Lynn” Lotas were named fellows of the American Academy of Nursing. They will be formally inducted as fellows during the academy’s 40th annual meeting Oct. 19 in Washington, D.C.
Selection criteria include evidence of significant contributions to nursing and health care and sponsorship by two current fellows.
Also among the 172 inductees are Frances Payne Bolton School of Nursing alumni Rey Rivera (NUR ’10) and Laura Wagner (CWR ’97) and several nursing school friends and former faculty members: Karen Kauffman, Sue Sendelbach and Jill Kilanowski.
