“Keeping Innovation and Entrepreneurship Alive in the Family Business”

Members of the Case Western Reserve University community are invited to join the Center for Family Business at Weatherhead School of Management to hear from Kim Eddleston, the Schulze Distinguished Professor of Entrepreneurship at Northeastern University and editor of Familybusiness.org.

Eddleston will present “Keeping Innovation and Entrepreneurship Alive in the Family Business” Thursday, Jan. 30. The event will begin with breakfast and networking at 7:30 a.m., followed by the program from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m.

Eddleston will explain how family businesses need to look to the future and harness innovation to stay successful through multiple generations. While traditions can provide building blocks for innovation, they can also make a family business resistant to change and stagnant. In this interactive workshop, participants will discover their personal approach toward innovation and then learn how they can better harness their style to benefit their family business.

Register to attend.
