Pitch Playground

Born from the request of a student, Pitch Playground was created to help students practice pitching without the pressure of competition. Pitching isn’t just for presenting a business plan. In fact, it’s a skill we use everyday. Learning to pitch means being able to effectively communicate in order to compete for the rarest of resources: attention and engagement.

The Veale Institute for Entrepreneurship will host Pitch Playground Friday, Nov. 15, from noon to 1 p.m. in the Sears think[box] second-floor presentation area.

Teams and individuals who register for this event will have the opportunity to pitch their idea and get real-time feedback from experts and mentors. Cash prizes will be available to first- and second-place winners.

Spectators are encouraged to attend.

All pitches will be limited to two minutes and mentors will have five minutes to ask questions.

Additional information will be sent out to those who register via CampusGroups.
