The Social Justice Institute at Case Western Reserve University will host its Biennial Intergenerational Think Tank Oct. 24–26, 2024. The theme is “Coalition Building: We Are Better and Stronger Together.”
The convening will begin Thursday, Oct. 24, with a short film screening of Black Beauty and panel discussion.
The following day (Oct. 25), the Social Justice Institute and the Rid-All Green Partnership will host an All-Community Reception.
The Think Tank will conclude Saturday, Oct. 26, with a conversation with local and national thought-leaders who will explore the current state of the struggle. Marc Lamont Hill, the keynote speaker, and panelists will poignantly provide insights on a myriad of topics, including human rights, community organizing and education. The discussions will examine the nexus between power, race, class, political repression, and war through multiple lenses.
