Is ‘mommy brain’ real?
WKYCEric Reed, psychiatry professor at the School of Medicine, discussed the phenomenon of “mommy brain,” a condition referring to forgetfulness or mental fog some women experience during pregnancy or after childbirth. Reed said the condition is thought to be linked to hormonal changes, sleep deprivation and the demands of caring for a baby.
