Case Western’s 11000 Cedar Startup Incubator boosts biotech efforts
Crain’s Cleveland Business (subscription required): Steve Fening, associate vice president for research, and Andy Cornwell, director of the Case-Cleveland Incubator in the Office of Strategic Partnerships, discussed the $70 million build-out of 80,000 square feet of startup incubator space just off campus. They noted that the 11000 Cedar Startup Incubator, formerly the home of BioEnterprise Inc., is poised to bridge the commercialization gap by providing the right type of space to support early-stage tech and biotech companies coming out of or looking to partner with Cleveland’s academic and healthcare sectors.
