Be a part of a larger group of students committed to meaningful service. Now in its 15th year, the Civic Engagement Scholars program—hosted by the Center for Civic Engagement & Learning (CCEL)—promotes, and recognizes meaningful student involvement in the community. Scholars choose to complete a track of 25 or 45 civic engagement activity hours over the course of the academic year and participate in community-focused educational events. Upon successful completion, scholars are recognized for their commitment to community.
This program is open to undergraduate and graduate students; many students participate multiple years.
Enrollment is open now. The scholars enrollment form is due by Sept. 16 at 11:59 p.m.
