Celebrate the start of the academic year and welcome our newest students and their families during the University Welcome and Convocation today (Aug. 19) at 4 p.m. in the Veale Convocation, Recreation and Athletic Center.
The event will feature brief remarks by members of university leadership and student leaders, as well as a keynote address by Daisy Hernández, the Elaine G. Hadden Distinguished Visiting Author.
