Jon Husted’s denial of knowing about a major bribery scheme linked to House Bill 6 despite incriminating texts. “You can read these texts and say ‘this is nothing but politics as usual’ or you can read them and say ‘they know what they’re doing and they’re speaking in code in order to avoid the smoking gun,’” Benza said.
