The Office of Education Abroad will hold a series of information sessions in an effort to inform students of the many study abroad opportunities available.
Winter Break Programs
An information session on winter break programs will be held Friday, April 26, from 12:45 to 1:30 p.m. in Tomlinson Hall’s first floor conference room. Students will learn about the different study abroad options available for winter break. Returnees from the 2012-2013 winter break programs in Costa Rica and Ecuador will share their experiences.
General Study Abroad Programs
The Office of Education Abroad will host a table in Nord Hall on Wednesday, May 1, from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., where representatives will be available to discuss available study abroad options.
A study abroad information session will be held Friday, May 3, for students interested in semester or yearlong study abroad opportunities. Former study abroad participants will be on hand to talk about their experiences. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn who can study abroad, where students can study, how to apply, and ways to prepare. The session will run from 12:45 to 1:30 p.m. in the Tomlinson Hall large conference room.
CWRU has partnered with the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) to offer a full spring semester course in London. An information session about the program will be held Friday, May 3, from 12:30 to 1:45 p.m. in Tomlinson Hall (check in at the Center for International Affairs). RADA students spend a majority of their time actively practicing and learning the skills of the actor, the stage manager and the scenic artist. This is a CWRU “in” program, which means students can register directly through the university. Visit the website to learn more about the program.
