Members of the Case Western Reserve University community are invited to join the School of Medicine’s Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusive Excellence for its next Virtual Inclusive Talks and Lecture Series (VITALS) talk.
This installment, titled “Empowering Perspectives: Celebrating Strength in Disability within Healthcare,” will be held Friday, Feb. 2, from noon to 1 p.m.
The panel aims to delve deeper into the strengths and contributions of individuals with disabilities in the healthcare sector, highlighting the unique skills and perspectives they bring. There will be a focus on how embracing diversity, including disability, enhances patient care and strengthens the healthcare community.
Gregory D. Snyder, a physician, clinician and physician innovator who is paraplegic, will join this session.
