Members of the Case Western Reserve University community are invited to the next Profiles of Inclusive Excellence Speaker Series talk Wednesday, Oct. 25, from 6 to 7 p.m. via Zoom. This series features in-depth conversations with faculty and staff from across campus—highlighting their work and research.
The African American Alumni Association, in partnership with the Office for Diversity, Equity and Inclusive Engagement and the African and African American Studies minor, will host André Mickel, professor and chair of the Department of Endodontics at the School of Dental Medicine.
Mickel is the director of the postdoctoral endodontic residency program at the School of Dental Medicine, where he has been a researcher, clinical, mentor, advisor and friend to countless students and doctors from five continents for nearly 30 years. In addition to his busy academic duties and lecturing worldwide, Mickel has regularly been named to best dentists lists in Cleveland, Northeast Ohio and America and maintains a highly acclaimed private endodontic practice.
He has been named one of the “50 Most Interesting People” by Cleveland Magazine for his unique and innovative endodontic office, relaxing amenities, and superior, comfort-oriented, spa-like patient services, which he incorporates into his evidence-based scientific clinical seminars.
