The Department of Population and Quantitative Health Sciences-based Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Learning Group meets on the second Thursday of each month to discuss articles relevant to diversity issues in population health research. The group’s purpose is for participants to learn how to include diverse perspectives in their research and to build new collaborations and networks together.
This group is a safe space for anyone who wants to expand their knowledge and skills related to diversity, equity and inclusion, and also for those who are new to the topics.
The September discussion will feature a documentary highlighting Cleveland and the impacts the blood plasma industry has had on the community. It will be held Thursday, Sept. 14, from noon to 1:30 p.m. in Wolstein Research Building, Room 2136.
Popcorn and refreshments will be provided.
A Zoom link may be provided for those who are unable to attend in person, but those who can are encouraged to come in person.
