On the third day of Innovation Week, attend a session with free lunch, networking, the presentation of Milestone Awards and a panel discussion on “Innovation and Corporate Engagement.” This lunchtime session will take place Thursday, Sept. 28, from noon to 2 p.m. in the Tinkham Veale University Center ballroom.
In this panel discussion, moderated by Michael Oakes, senior vice president for research and technology management at Case Western Reserve, executives from some of the university’s corporate partners will share stories that illustrate what good corporate engagement looks like, what bad engagement looks like, and why a new corporate engagement model is needed.
Panelists include:
- Julie Edgar, chief technology officer at Lubrizol;
- Steve Sumner, vice president of corporate innovation at Lincoln Electric; and
- Rohan Aklokar, the Milton and Tamar Maltz Professor of Energy Innovation at CWRU.
The free event is open to members of the CWRU community, alumni and members of the public. Free lunch will be provided. Registration is required.
