A university cancer center and a barber shop are teaming up for prostate cancer screenings
ideastream: Erika Trapl, associate professor in the Department of Population and Quantitative Health Sciences, noted that Black men in Cuyahoga County have a 60% increased risk of being diagnosed with prostate cancer and an 80% increased risk of dying from prostate cancer compared to white men. She also discussed the ways that the Case Comprehensive Cancer Center is helping them to get more screenings.
