The Clinical and Translational Science Collaborative will host its second annual Health Equity Challenge Series Book Discussion Kickoff Luncheon Wednesday, Oct. 4, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Cleveland Botanical Garden.
The discussion will feature Deirdre Cooper Owens, author of Medical Bondage: Race, Gender and the Origins of American Gynecology.
Cleveland Councilwoman Stephanie Howse will give remarks and the discussion will be moderated by WKYC Channel 3’s Carmen Blackwell.
