Members of the Case Western Reserve University community are invited to join the Department of Population and Quantitative Health Sciences for the next Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Learning Group session Thursday, Aug. 10, from noon to 1:30 p.m. in Wolstein Research Building, Room 2136.
The group meets on the second Thursday of each month to discuss articles relevant to diversity issues in population health research, learning how to include diverse perspectives in our research, and building new collaborations and networks together. This group is a safe space for anyone who wants to expand their knowledge and skills related to diversity, equity and inclusion and is for people who are both new to these topics in research and those who have been working in this space.
Frederick Knuckles, program manager of diversity, equity and inclusion at The Alzheimer’s Association, will lead the August session on the topic of “Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Burnout.”
Lunch will be provided at the session. RSVP to Rebecca Miller at rdm124@case.edu and indicate in your email if you are vegetarian or vegan.
