In collaboration with the LGBT Center at Case Western Reserve University, the School of Medicine’s Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusive Excellence will offer a virtual Safe Zone training session Friday, June 16, from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m.
The session will explore current LGBTQ+ identity terms, coming out, how to create a safe campus, heterosexism and homophobia, sexual orientation myths and facts, and statistics.
This session is recommended to all faculty and staff members who have never taken a Safe Zone training or haven’t attended a session in the past two years.
