Institutions of higher education are uniquely positioned to engage in difficult dialogue. Universities are places where individuals should feel safe to discuss complex issues, while feeling heard and respected.
Provost Ben Vinson III invites members of the Case Western Reserve University community to attend the next Critical Conversations event, focusing on the topic of the economy. A panel will address the topic from multiple perspectives Friday, April 21, from 1 to 2 p.m. in the Thwing Center ballroom.
The panelists will be:
- Anat Alon-Beck, assistant professor of law, School of Law;
Lakshmi Balasubramanyan, assistant professor of banking and finance, Weatherhead School of Management; and
David Clingingsmith, associate professor of economics, Weatherhead School of Management.
