“Promoting Health and Wellness through Collaborative Research Practice Partnerships with Children and Youth”

The Schubert Center for Child Studies and Pediatric Grand Rounds will host Elizabeth Benninger, CEO of Healthy Minds Healthy Communities Consulting LLC and a postdoctoral fellow at Cleveland State University’s Cleveland Alliance for Education Research, for a talk titled “Promoting Health and Wellness through Collaborative Research Practice Partnerships with Children and Youth.”

Benninger’s talk will cover prevention and health promotion theory and how it can be applied to support optimal health and well-being outcomes for children and youth. It will further discuss diverse methodologies that can be used to build strong community-child partnerships to address complex health problems and promote flourishing.

Benninger’s talk will be held Thursday, Jan. 26, from 8 to 9 a.m. in the amphitheater in University Hospitals Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital. Individuals also can tune in via Zoom. Bagels and coffee will be available for in-person attendees.
