The Professional Development Center aims to provide Case Western Reserve University employees with comprehensive, high-quality learning and development resources that advance the performance of the individual and the university. The center’s staff is available to support the university’s staff in achieving their professional development goals.
The Professional Development Center (PDC) offers two main areas of programming: community training sessions and one-on-one career development sessions.
This semester, the center is offering almost 40 community training sessions on topics like effectively giving feedback, emotional intelligence, delegation and accountability, and more. Career development sessions are private, one-on-one sessions in which staff members are able to discuss a variety of professional development-related topics including how to have difficult conversations, how to approach performance review meetings for staff or supervisors, getting your resume up to date, and more.
