Consent can be tricky, but it is a skill that needs to be practiced. Members of the Case Western Reserve University community are invited to join ItsOnCWRU to learn more about consent, how to give it, how to recognize it, how to respond if someone tells you no, and how to get support if you are impacted by sexual violence.
“Let’s Talk About Sex: A Workshop on Consent” will be held Friday, Sept. 30, from 2 to 3 p.m. in Tinkham Veale University Center, Suite 248.
Content warning: Although this workshop discusses consent holistically (not just within sexual contexts), it does discuss various topics that may be impactful to some participants. Topics include harassment, stalking, sexual harassment and/or abuse. Resources and support will be reviewed for anyone impacted by these topics, and individuals are encouraged to be aware of their needs and space when attending this workshop.
