Greater Cleveland tops list for highest rate of foreclosures in the nation

WKYC: Michael Goldberg, associate professor of design and innovation at Weatherhead School of Management and executive director of the Veale Institute for Entrepreneurship, discussed the Cleveland metro area’s unusually high foreclosure rates—higher than anywhere else in the country. “In some ways, I think for folks that have seen what’s happening in Cleveland, particularly during the housing crisis, it’s not a huge surprise,” Goldberg said. “We’ve got a city where there’s a lot of housing instability.”
