CalPERS wants Buffett out as chair
NTD News: Anat Alon-Beck, assistant professor of law, discussed the proposed move by CalPERS, the nation’s largest pension fund, to oust Warren Buffett as Berkshire Hathaway’s chairman, noting that the roles of CEO and chairman are diminished when one person holds both. “It’s not good corporate governance to have dual roles because what happens is that one person has all this power,” she said.
