Hahn Professor of Law and co-director of the Law-Medicine Center, said wearing a face mask is still a good idea—even if companies and governments are lifting mandates. “According to the CDC, people should continue to wear masks if they are in an area with high COVID-19 numbers or if they are in crowded indoor settings,” she said. “In addition, if you are vulnerable to serious illness from COVID or are visiting someone who is vulnerable, you should wear a mask.”
