Students are invited to attend the Center for Civic Engagement & Learning’s Civic Engagement Conference this Saturday, Feb. 9, in Thwing Center. From noon to 4 p.m., attendees may visit a number of breakout sessions in addition to a keynote address by Bill Kitson, CEO of the United Way of Cleveland. Lunch will be provided.
The Civic Engagement Conference is designed to inspire Case Western Reserve University students to be active, engaged citizens in their communities and to enhance their leadership skills in areas such as service, advocacy and philanthropy. This conference is a collaboration among the Center for Civic Engagement & Learning, Lambda Eta Mu and Alpha Phi Omega.
