Case Western Reserve University’s Procurement & Distribution Services (PDS) announced that the university is switching office supplies partners from Office Depot to Staples Advantage.
CWRU PDS and stakeholders worked closely with Staples Advantage to create a program that fits the needs of the university’s departments and offers improved value through vendor consolidation and one-stop-shop, simplified e-ordering.
As a new primary preferred office supplies program partner, Staples Advantage will provide the following benefits for CWRU users:
- Substantial cost savings;
- Streamlined ordering process via SmartCART (Jaggaer, CWRU’s e-Marketplace);
- Dedicated customer support services (additional information to follow);
- Free regular business shipping;
- Free, no-hassle returns;
- Environmentally preferable product lists; and
- A staff benefits program for personal purchases at all Staples retail locations.
This program will launch in May after integration testing in SmartCART (Jaggaer) is completed. Specific “go-live” dates will be announced soon. In conjunction with PDS, the Staples Advantage team will conduct live webinar trainings—two 30-minute navigational sessions—in late April and early May.
