This weekend marks the eighth annual Throwback Weekend for the varsity basketball teams.
During tonight’s games versus University of Chicago, the Spartan women will wear uniforms commemorating Flora Stone Mather College and the Spartan men will wear uniforms commemorating Western Reserve University (Red Cats). All members of the campus community are encouraged to come out to support the teams. The women’s game will begin at 6 p.m. and the men’s game will begin at 8 p.m. On Sunday, the men face off against Washington University in St. Louis; during the game, they’ll wear uniforms in honor of the Case Institute of Technology (Rough Riders).
Prior to the Friday night games, The 300 Club will host a tailgate in Veale Center at 5 p.m. featuring free Jolly Scholar food and a raffle to win a $20 Starbucks gift card.
